    Hi- We have an xbox live gold account that we use for the family. We have no problem playing online through the xbox one with all three of our profiles. However, when either of my sons try signing in to play online with the xbox 360, they get
    a "... no permission to access xbox live functionality" We try signing in with the same profiles on both machines. We have already tried deleting and uploading the misbehaving profiles to no avail. Help!

    Each account needs their own gold subscription in order to play online. Gold sharing is only a feature on the One.

    Hello, digthewookie,

    As Smwutches stated, you need a seperate subscription on each 360 profile or if you have an Xbox one, only 1 profile needs gold for all the Xbox One Profiles to sign in and be able to play online.
