Permission issues for Live Gold on Family accounts

Thanks for coming to the forums. When they are playing the game are they on their profile on the home Xbox? If they are on another Xbox they will not have the gold.

For gold share they log on their account on the console you set as home.

Hi Sorry you having that issue. Try Adding your xbox one console as your home xbox. This allows all that play on the console to share the benefits. If have two consoles make the opposite one home and log in on your regular console for yourself. Hope this

I'm assuming he's trying to play on the One, you will need to set the console as your Home console. This will allow you to share the gold subscription with the other accounts on the console so they can log in and play on their accounts without needing yours

Home box setting was correct already. I verified the Home Box setting and my Xbox 1 is set as the Home Box, however, 2 of 4 of my kids still can't log in to some games. The older 2 can, the younger 2 can't.

My youngest (9yrs) is trying to play Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. When the game loads and he tries to select items from menu, he gets the following message:

CONNECTION

Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionality.

I checked the permissions in the Family settings and removed any content restrictions but still no luck.

You need to set the console as your Home console. Please, follow the suggestions given by the colleague.
