    So, June 18th I was Permanently Suspended for “Cheating”.

    I filed a case explaining what I did and that I didn’t “cheat”. I DID use an in game glitch, though.

    I’m sure many of you that play Halo are aware of the “Go Offline” glitch. Well, I got banned for using it, meanwhile; more than half of the Halo MCC population has been doing it since the game released with no problems. (which should have been patched A
    LONG time ago! (*343i* >_<)

    Anyways, so I filed a case and it came back that I used “Network Manipulation” and the suspension was going to stand REALLY?! For clicking “Go Offline”?!?! At the VERY MOST I should have been temporarily suspended despite the fact I’ve never seen or heard
    of anyone getting suspended for an in game glitch; ESPECIALLY in the Halo series which has always been fun to discover glitches on!

    So I tried contacting XBL Support and I even talked to a Supervisor and explained the entire situation and I was told that “if it really is a glitch in the game” that its possible I can get in contact with the Enforcement Team and prove that to them and
    have my Suspension reversed.

    So is there a way to contact the Enforcement Team without filing a case? Because it won’t let me file another one or give me any sort of contact option...

    My other problem is that my account wasn’t set to “Home Xbox”, so not only did I lose my account of almost 10yrs, but EVERYTHING I’ve ever purchased (Games, Movies, Addons, etc) are gone because I never set my new Xbox One X I recently purchased as my “Home
    Xbox”...is there ANY way to fix this?

    My account got permanently suspended on Xbox, I want to make my account my home Xbox but I can't because I am not allowed to sign into Xbox live, how can I play all the games i bought?

  5. I'm sorry as once an account got Perma banned, it can no longer be set as a "Home Xbox" no longer.

    You where not permanently banned because of one time exploiting of a game glitch, you must have many other suspension before it got lead to a perma banned.

    All that can be done now is to learn from the many mistakes you did and move on into a new Xbox and following from now on the rules or move to another game service at your choice.

  6. Even if I was told specifically by an XBL Suppoet Supervisor there is? I have the conversation and reference number. He also said he noted everything on my account so that when I do get in contact or anything they can see the notes.

  7. It was my first and only suspension. I had one “Offensive Gamertag” change back in like 2012ish for having the abbreviation “WTF” in my name and that was it.

    I know I was wrongly banned and quite frankly if there’s nothing else I can do, that is complete bs that one person can basically decide my fate off his/her opinion. Absolutely terrible customer service.

    This isn’t the first time I’ve been accused of something I didn’t do.

    In 2010 or 2011 I can’t 100% remember; I purchased the (at the time) new 360 Slim 4GB Console (I liked the Matte Black more than the Gloss 500GB console) and after just a few weeks it got the RRoD so I had to send it in.

    While tracking it via the Xbox website, I got a notification saying there was nothing they could do and that when they received the console it was “tampered” with and my warranty was voided. Which I literally just bought the console so that was a complete
    lie.

    Anyways, at the time I just took the loss and bought a PS3 instead because it never had issues. Roughly a few weeks later I received a phone call from Xbox Live saying they made a big mistake regarding my console and that they would like to make it up to
    me by sending me a new 360 Slim 500GB console with 1yr free of XBL. Which was obviously great! But the point off the story is that they do make mistakes and there should be a way to get a different opinion or be able to talk to somebody higher up. It’s a flawed
    system!

    Support does not handle enforcement issues so they are known for giving incorrect information. A case review is the only way to contact the enforcement team.

    On top of being wrongly banned, I lose everything I’ve purchased in the last 10yrs all because I bought the new One X...I give them more money, and I get screwed over for their flawed system. Great...

  10. No one in here can really tell how many exact suspension you have in the past. IMO you should not have taken advantage of a Game glitch as stated in the rules its forbidden, I know its too late now since your case was already investigate twice and the decision
    was upheld, you can only either learn from it and move on.

  11. I can see how many times I’ve been suspended when I go to the Enforcement page under my account. It says once (which is the one I’m referring too), and one gamertag change.

    Glitches are HUGE in the Halo franchise. Especially in the first 3. I’ve been playing Halo since 2001 and have discovered countless glitches over the years and have never been in any sort of trouble for any of them. This one I recently used because I couldn’t
    get a single game once I hit rank 32 or so without somebody doing it and I’d lose a 4v2 or a 4v1 which got annoying.

    In the Halo2 prime days, glitches were 80% of the game. Hell, some of them were even allowed in MLG! (BXR, BXB, RRX, etc)

    And my account wasn’t investigated twice. It was once. I’d love for it to get investigated again by somebody who knows what they’re doing.

    Since you already submitted a case review, your ban has been investigated twice. Once when the ban was originally issued and again when you submitted the review.
