Permanently suspended, from a hacker

My Microsoft account (not this one) has been permanently suspended after a hacker logged into my account and changed all my security info. I consulted with one of the Microsoft answer tech and they said that my account could not be unsuspended even if I had the password. Is this true as I can put my account through the account recovery thing and reset the password.

I understand you need help with your account suspension.

Actually, you have the option to file for a case review on the account for as long as you have access to this again.

This is the only way to dispute the suspension as long as the account is eligible for it.

No, what I mean to say is it will depend on their decision if they will unsuspend the account or not but you will need to access your account first to file for a case review.

It will still depend on the enforcement team's decision but yes, you can file for a dispute once you get your account back.

So, you're saying that if I manage to get my password back I can file a case review and most likely the account will get unsuspended?

So, if the enforcement team decides that I shouldn't get my account back even though I have the password I won't get my account back no matter what? Is there a reason behind that?
