Permanently Block A Player From Ever Appearing

How can I properly block another player on Xbox Live? I'm trying to play 2 person co-op but keep getting matched with people who's gamer card says they are "Offline" or "Away for XX minutes". Each time I exit the lobby and try to find a different match I
just get thrown in with the same person who's clearly away from his/her Xbox. I want to block those people when that happens so I can have a chance of being matched with someone who's actually playing the game.

I've tried muting, filing complaints and leaving bad feedback but the same people reappear over and over. The game is Splinter Cell Blacklist.

Can I store .mkv files on the hard drive and play them with Xbox One please?

I am doubtful this feature will ever appear as they know .mkv is widely used for piracy and they have already blocked the console from playing BD+R discs.

You could always send their tag to lizard squad and get them to sort it

You need to avoid the player.It only lessens the chances of being matched with them,there's no way to guarantee you wont be matched with them.

Like Badger says best to give them an avoided player review, to minimise the chances of being paired with them. I think the trouble you've got is splinter cell blacklist is likely not very active online so it pairs you with the same people you're trying
to avoid rather than no one, might be an idea to go over to the games forum for splinter cell to see if anyone there is still playing to team up with

As has been said, picking to not be matched with that player is the only option..but if only a small number of people are online on that game..you'll probably still get matched with em!
