    my xbox profile name was permanently banned in 2017. i never got an option to write a case review or get a suspension so i won’t repeat the same mistake i did. i entered an “inappropriate emoji” as my name & have been banned since. i was wondering if the ban could get lifted, i know i could’ve violated the rules but i’d like to at least get a chance to get suspended rather than get a permanent ban for a one time mistake from 4 years ago.

    The only way to possible have it lifted would have been to submit a case review if eligible. Since it wasn't eligible and it's been over 12 months, there's no way to have the suspension lifted.

    your account isn't permanately banned is it or just the name

    If a name is in violation. Then it can never be used

    You don't get a account perm ban unless you had multiple name change violations or something more serious
    No, I can change my gamertag. My account isn't permanently banned, but the option to share my real name with people is.
