ok, I am very frustrated as I just spent over an hour on the phone with Xbox trying to figure out how to contact enforcement about my son"s another account which was permanently suspended. we tried to go on the forums for enforcement with the email of the
banned account and it would not even load at all so we could post a thread. I really would like to see the proof of the harassment or claims by whoever reported my son. I think that he was wrongly accused. they seem to have blackballed his account from even
posting to a forum to question proof of the claims and reports that caused his account to be banned.

anyone can make false reports and I have seen it happen many times and even heard people talk about it on Xbox live, laughing how they got someone banned all because they didn't like getting beaten by someone repeatedly. and if it was due to vulgar language a
lifetime ban is a little excessive when I repeatedly hear many people and even children as young as 7 & 8 years old cussing and making threats repeatedly on Xbox live.

My son and I would really like to talk to someone from enforcement about his banned account!! I will not list his banned account here I will only discuss and disclose the account name when someone from enforcement contacts up!!

Permanent suspension

Microsoft do not un-ban previously banned consoles as they are permanent. They do not ban people's consoles/accounts lightly, they do so after several investigations.

The most common reason for a banned console is modifying it, but there are other reasons such as marketplace theft.



You might want to post in section 14 in order to get an official answer. Although they might just delete your thread and post a link like below.

The Enforcement site is the only way to communicate with the concerned team and no one will be able to help you here, furthermore no matter if one of your friends was messing around using your profile as you are the owner and responsible of your profile.

 

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

You would need to go to the enforcement site
https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-GB to see any enforcement action on your account & file for a case review if eligible.

You do not get banned/suspended if someone files false reports against you.In fact anyone abusing the reporting system risks being suspended themselves.

A mate of mine was playing a game, and a guy he knows that hates his guts provoked him into an argument over messages, he then got all his clan members to report my friend, which resulted in him getting a temporary ban, even though 90% of the people that
reported him had never talked to him and were just doing it because their clan leader insisted on it.

 

and also, I just got off the phone with Xbox customer support discussing my own suspension - and she confirmed that you can be banned for, and I quote 'there are vicious players on Xbox live that will report you for nothing and get you banned'

 

Customer support are nothing whatsoever to do with xbox live enforcement & quite often give out the wrong info.

You will never be suspended for no reason.

You mate needs to not react to the messages, the other thing to do is to block him, why he hadn't done that already I don't know.
