Permanent Suspension Impact: This account can no longer sign in to Xbox Live from any devices.

What does this mean? I have a ban until January 31st, but this says Permanent. If so, does this mean I can't log in to smartglass on my phone permanently?

Ive read up on this and apparently from what an Ambassador has said, the ban is only for the duration of the suspension. If so, why does it say Permanent, and not Temporary?

Answers? Please?

Unclear about comm ban length.

I was replying to this and I quote "Permanent suspension impact: This account can no longer sign in to Xbox Live from any device. This enforcement affects the account's Xbox Live privileges"this is an account suspension. if you had an account suspension
you would havn't be able to sign in.

This if the enforcement message. Its just confusing the crap out of me because of the permanent part.

Base from the description, it seems that you got suspended from communications. What you seem to be confused from was the part regarding Permanent suspension. It seems that its just an explanation if the account got perma ban. But if there's a time frame
or duration when it will be lifted then that's not perma ban. But if it says 999 then that's perma for sure.

 

I think the message describes the results of each type of ban. It appears to me that you have a communications ban in place, no more. You should be able to check on your enforcement history here:

As stated by Mister Maka. The only place to get an answer to a question relating to suspensions for violating the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use is via the Enforcement team.

 

Yeah and how do we get into contact with the Enforcement Team? Through another forum that the moderators can choose not to publish in the first place? Xbox Live customer service has completely gone down the drain. I have this same exact issue right now.

I have done absolutely nothing to deserve this suspension. The only thing that I can even fathom is that someone, somewhere in the past that does not like me has gotten their friends together to report my account. This means that this will indefinitely happen
again, and again until I get a permanent ban. How ridiculous is this?

 

You get in contact with the enforcement team via the enforcement site

Customer service have nothing whatsoever to do with xbox live enforcement so can't do anything.

You can have 100 reports filed against you,you will only get suspended if you have done something against the CoC/ToU.

An email would of been sent to the address linked to your account telling you why you were suspended or you can log in to the site I linked,it will tell you there why you were suspended & you can ask for a case review if the suspension is more than 24 hours.

In future,it is always best to start your own thread instead of posting in someone elses.
