"they make the rules" - Ever notice how those rules alway benifits Macro/Micro's 'soft' bottom line? Ever wonder why console sales, while good, overall game sales aren't?

Xbox One - The best app and 4K blu ray player. But for games etc... Well, you get the idea!

 

As evident by this thread,the rules also benefit xbox live users by punishing people who harass other people but no doubt it's some sort of great conspiracy thing that's going on.

Is it because their sense of morality and ethics far and away exceeds yours or mine? Can't speak for any of you, but. Nope, not mine!

I see plenty of gamer's who curse/name call one another all the time. Yet even though I don't personally do/say such things. I still watch them play live online. Mostly bc I can't play anywhere near as good as they do. What takes them minutes often takes
me weeks to beat the same level. Except for Halo 5's short, short, short campaign.

Now, if MS is not enforcing a certain moral or ethical code, then why not simple allow gamer's with thin skin (who often report, block) to simply block others?

Thick skin = (don't report, block) to game ets with other thick skinned gamer's?

Now, you might say. "They do that." but no. They go a $step further$ than simply BLOCK by adding. REPORT and block. And days/weeks/years later... Permanent ban for failing to conform.

Report, that way MS can, perhaps years later. Ban a none conformants to MS ethical/morals/and I'll add.. Religious code etc and thus strip away the non-conformants Digital games, DLC etc, forcing him/her to, if they want to play again on MS system(s)/games.
Re-buy them all over again. ~ (At least that's what one ambassador/admin says.)

Personally, I don't care what ya think. However, it would be unethical of me (My personal moral/religious/ethics code) NOT to at least voice My Thoughts and/or Opinions on this and/or other topics that are often posted here for open discussion.

So to call me "a conspiracy theorist" and/or "tin foil hat" is disingenuous. Yet, it seems those types of name calling, and that's what it is. Is all I ever get in response to my posting any thoughts and/or opinions on any given subject.

Now, if only MS would encode it's system (Xbox Live) to only place people with thick skin in gaming/communicating sessions with others who have thick skin. But then the thin skinned gamer's/communicators would REPORT and block one another until their wasn't
any of them left with which to communicate/game. Which they likely wouldn't repurchase said console or games, which would translate into fewer and fewer profits for MS and/or Sony eh?

Final thought/opinion.

Youths (Under 18) should only be placed into random gaming sessions with other youths. (Parents, your young ones will cry you a river, but they'll get over it.) Thick skinned adults with thick skinned adults. Thin skin with thin skinned. That way everyone,
no matter your moral/ethical/religious preferences can actually do what they bought a console, games, dlc and xbox live gold to do. Game and communicate with other gamer's of, not only like abilities, but like minds as well, without the fear of being forced
to conform to someone else's sense of morality and enforced by a equally morally bankrupt company(s) or national goberment(s).
