Discus and support Permanent Party Overlay in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; so whenever my xbox is on , even when im offline, a very faint almost invisible party overlay is displayed on the right of my screen .     Permanent Party Overlay


    so whenever my xbox is on , even when im offline, a very faint almost invisible party overlay is displayed on the right of my screen . Even if i am not in a party and have my overlay turned off it still shows a really faint party overlay full of scrambled strange letters as if two people are constantly talking . Its starting to bug me when i play games , any ideas on how to remove it?

    that sounds like it is screen burn, do you have an oled tv by chance, as having static images in the same place for so long will burn into the screen, i say this as you mentioned that the image looks like several talking at once and scrambled letters.

    if this is the case there are some colour flashing programs that may assist to ease this but they will be there forever, this is the problem with oled displays.

    Since you already have the overlay turned off, go to the notification settings and turn off the Party notifications and text replies then preform a quick power cycle.

    Give it a try and let us know the results!

    If this happens in all games, try a power circle reset.If it is only in a specific game, check that it is not something to activate during the game's configuration.

    Turn party overlay off and restart your console,

    Turn it back on and Turn party overlay back on and it should work again

    Hi, I know those overlays are sometimes frustrating but you can disable them. When in a party bring up the party menu and there is a toggle halfway down the screen labeled "Voice Overlay" just disable this toggle and the overlay will not longer display.
