Someone SHOULD be speaking out openly against these vile policies. I have yet to see anyone here becides me not bowing low to MS. Nay, all I've ever seen here on these forums is everyone agreeing with them.

I still own my X1 bc paying for something is not only an investment in capital, but it serves as a cheap pc. And as I told you before, I like the console but not the policies which govern it.

No one here I've seen "bows down" to Microsoft,we just know that in the real world there are rules & it's the same on xbox/xbox live.

Not on topic but this thread got derailed by you know who ages ago so i'll clarify.

In the U.K. you need a tv license to watch any broadcast tv,whether its freeview,cable, satellite etc.Only the BBC gets any of that license fee because they are not paid for with advertising.Even if you never watch anything on the BBC you still have to
pay the license fee or risk £1000 fine.The license is per household,not per person.

You used to be able to watch catch up tv on BBC iPlayer without needing the license fee but the BBC complained to the government about this & now you even have to have a license to use iPlayer.

I totally disagree with the whole license fee thing so signed a legal declaration that I don't watch broadcast tv or use iPlayer so I don't have to pay the license fee.

If i'm ever caught doing so I get fined £1000.

No, I do not agree with banning consoles just because when harrased, a gamer feels compelled to defend him/herself, now if you wish to permaban a spammer or habitual provocitor from XBL Gold, then by all means. Go for it. But to ban the console or it's ability
to dl updates is just plain criminal, and I believe, especially given their 1st quarter projected losses, that MS is doing this for the money.

"make stuff up" - On the contrary, I look into the number of bans minue the number of loyalists who can never be banned and crunch the numbers. Math as you know is an exact science, but if you disagree, then by all means. Show the evidence to the contrary.

You have absolutely no idea on how many bans/suspensions are issued so yet again,making stuff up.

No one is exempt from the rules,anyone can receive enforcement action if caught breaking the rules so again you are making things up.

You will only get a console ban as a last resort,if someone keeps getting suspensions then their account will be banned before a console ban is issued.
