    Permanent Bans for Gamerpics


    Weed is legal. I have a medical card and grow it legally. My gamerpic was of green plants I grew legally. I am now permanently banned from using my account. I was given no warning, i would gladly change the gamerpic if i could use my account again. No one was using the weed in the picture, it was just of jars with green inside them. (Illinois) passed their weed law in 2020. Canada legalized weed federally. Why is this treated like im some kind of nefarious criminal? i honestly feel discriminated against. Is there any possible way to rectify this? If i was given any kind of warning i would have gladly complied. (weed is not an illegal drug anymore) if i had a picture of bayer aspirin would i be banned still?

    Ban

    A gamerpic wouldn't cause a permanent ban on the account unless it was extremely serve.

    Most permanent bans can't be undone. If its a temporary ban you'll have to wait it out.

    If he had previously has multiple suspensions before the gamerpic it could result in a permanent ban.

    Yes, multiple enforcement actions could lead to a permanent ban. It doesn't matter what type of suspension or that it's just for gamerpics. And yes, using a gamerpic that was already removed can lead to another suspension.

    Got an update. It says in this case the account ban has been lifted. However future violations would result in a ban.

    Does this mean I could be banned for using avatar accessories in the future? No where does it apologize or state that the current gamerpic must be changed.

    I guess I have to just wait and see after the next multiplayer match I win if I get banned for something unlocked on a snoopy game. I think I'm ready for it actually.
