    I don't know if Microsoft will see this and appeal my ban but, today I have recieved a permanent ban on my main xbox account, , for pochanging my gamerpicture to something xbox had thought to be something inapropriate. Yes, it could have been
    very misleading if you had not known what it was but it was just an anime characters thighs and smiling face as something to be seen as funny. i know this is not a very strong arguing point for why i should be unbanned, but i think it shouldnt be a perm abn
    despite only having 1 acoount altering ban before this one. So even I am still banned for a month (or longer) I dont feel it should be permanent. I would like to have this account back because i have had it since i was a kid and i waould be very sad to see
    it go but if you dont unban i could see why. Thank you for reading this (if you did). I have had this account for about 7 years and would love to get it back.

    If you unbanned me i would be grateful and wouldnt try to put anything of the sort as my gamerpic again.

    Also, if you've been given any "tips" that triggering a short-term ban of the account for offensive Bio content will somehow negate the account's permanent ban, you were told wrong. A permanent ban is permanent.

    Today i received an email that my account from permanently banned. I went onto the link that they posted and it turns out i got banned for soliciting etc. I submitted a case review and went looking for more information. Most suspensions/bans are 1,7, or 14 days and my type of suspension followed under that list but then it said something about if the action was egregious or excessive bans, it could lead to a permanent one. In my case i tried selling my og gamertag, the guy messaged me about it, i told him how much and what payment. He declined, i said ok, and then we didn't message again AND no personal info was transferred, so in my defense it was not egregious. I have only had 2 ENFORCEMENTS, a good reputation, and no consecutive or reappearing issues. I do not think that deserves a permanent ban from all my years of gaming and achievement i have earned. There is clearly a flaw in the system.

    Purchasing or selling accounts can get you permanently banned.
    Signing in to accounts that are not yours can get you permanently banned.
    Sharing sign in information for accounts can get you permanently banned.

    Permanent bans are not issued lightly. If you've had multiple suspension in the past, that can lead to a permanent ban.
