Permanent Ban Without Parental Notice and no human contact with Enforcement Team

Hi,

I am looking to speak with someone regarding the permanent ban on my 8 year old son's account. I have already completed the case review online and the decision was upheld and the response was returned in less than a few hours. If I would've have known that
would be my only contact with them I would have written more. I record most of his game play and I have checked over the videos on several occasions to see what goes on while he plays as many adults don't like children that play online.

I understand that there is a policy to follow and the charge of attempt to distribute modifications sounds really serious but my son does not have the knowledge of creating modifications or selling them online. I would like for further review of his account
to take place and I would like to be provided with a transcript of when the charge occurred since I am losing out on $100s in games and products. I have contacted been to the local store contacted the local office and all I get from customer support is they
can't help me and I can issue a dispute with my bank for my money back which is strange.

was 4. In a court of law we are given due process and I would like the same right when dealing with Microsoft since my hard earned money is being taken.

Does this possibly mean I could potentially sew the enforcement team for a permanent ban without reason and without warning?

 

I Have Been Console Banned For No Reason

If it's a console ban, you won't get a notice and you can't contact the enforcement team for console bans.

Player Reputation doesn't have anything to do with enforcement actions against your account

 

An account suspension completely blocks the affected account from being able to sign in to the Xbox Live service for the duration of the suspension. Account suspensions are issued for a specified duration, often of 1, 7, or 14 days, though egregious or repeated
violations can result in a permanent suspension. XBLPET will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions alwaysoccur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation.

The Code of Conduct clearly outlines the rules of Xbox Live and establishes what content and behavior is not appropriate. We strongly encourage all players to familiarize themselves with this document (don’t worry, it’s a quick read!) to best understand
how to keep Xbox Live fun for everyone. When a player agrees to the Microsoft Services Agreement and Code of Conduct, it’s expected that they understand the rules of the service.

That being said if the verdict is upheld after filing for a case review there is nothing else you can do. When XBLPET issues a suspension, it serves as an indication that a Code of Conduct violation occurred and affected player needs to re-visit the rules.

M3tal Daz3 has the correct information in this case. The Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team does not issue a permanent suspension for no reason and they are not taken lightly. You mentioned modifications specifically in your post, so I just wanted to call
out this portion of the Code of Conduct. This page as well as
this page covers modifications more in depth and their use, as well as the enforcement actions that can take place if an account either creates or uses the modifications.

If you have already submitted a case review and it was upheld, there wouldn't be anything further that can be done with the account. The enforcement team will respond to the Case Review through the email address on the account. So for more information on
the suspension, you'll want to check the email address associated with the account. Sometimes this email ends up in a spam folder, so please check there if you've not see it yet.
