Permanent Ban/Suspension

Hello,

Recently I have received a permanent ban for what is listed as Account Theft/Phishing. This came as a surprise to me because I have never tried such an act in my 13ish years as part of the Xbox Live community. This is extremely demoralizing and is making
me rethink my choice as an Xbox gamer. I have $200+ in Rocket League items, plus another $150ish in games. I have already submitted a case review and it was upheld. I am unsure how to either submit another case review or simple contact the Enforcement team
for further investigation of this case.

*PS, this is not the account with the ban. I had to use this account because the other one is unable to write on the forums page*

Enforcement on Xbox

Today i received an email that my account from permanently banned. I went onto the link that they posted and it turns out i got banned for soliciting etc. I submitted a case review and went looking for more information. Most suspensions/bans are 1,7, or 14 days and my type of suspension followed under that list but then it said something about if the action was egregious or excessive bans, it could lead to a permanent one. In my case i tried selling my og gamertag, the guy messaged me about it, i told him how much and what payment. He declined, i said ok, and then we didn't message again AND no personal info was transferred, so in my defense it was not egregious. I have only had 2 ENFORCEMENTS, a good reputation, and no consecutive or reappearing issues. I do not think that deserves a permanent ban from all my years of gaming and achievement i have earned. There is clearly a flaw in the system.

If a Suspension is "Permanent", that would make it a Ban, not a Suspension.

If they upheld their suspension, there is nothing else you can do. You only get 1 case review and since you've already filed it that means they have already looked into it twice.

There's no set number of suspensions that can lead to a permanent ban. You can receive a permanent ban without ever having received a suspension before.

There's no set number of suspensions that will lead to a permanent ban. You can get a permanent ban without having any prior suspensions. Or you can get 5 suspensions and then get a permanent ban.

They recently updated/moved the enforcement site and I think it's had some issues. It doesn't necessarily mean your enforcement history is clean.

Permanent bans are not issued lightly. If you've had multiple suspension in the past, that can lead to a permanent ban.

That would be entirely up to the enforcement team. There's no set number of suspensions you can receive before getting a permanent ban. You can get a permanent ban without have any prior suspensions.
