    Permanent ban after first offence?


    I had sent a rather unfriendly message after being teamkilled in one of my favorite games. I had assumed it would only be a 24 hour ban on my xbox live because I have never committed any action against the community guidelines.

    I was permanently banned though. Is there any way to get xbox live back on my account?

    i'd like to recovery my gamertarg from a perma ban account

    I'm not sure why they would have told you that, but permanent bans are just that, you will not be able to access that account for play after a permanent ban. The gamer tag might become available after several years of inactivity the gamer tag might become
    available again (something like 5+ yrs) but I'm not sure about this with gamertags that have a permanent ban on them.

    Permanent bans are only issued for extremely severe or repeated offenses. The best option would be for him to appeal the ban at enforcement.xbox.com then How Do I? And Case Review. Permanent bans are rarely overturned, but after further review they may remove

    The length of a ban/suspension is also determined by the severity of the offence,not just whether it's your first offence or not.

    There is no set amount of times you can be suspended before you are permanently banned.

    If the offence is severe enough you can get a permanent ban for a first offence.

    Best rule is to read & follow the
    code of conduct     & not get suspended at all.

    You can be permanently banned without ever being suspended or you can have several minor suspensions before being banned.

    Depends on the severity of the offence/offence's you commit as well as how many times you been suspended.

    Best rule is to not break the rules in the first place then you wont have to worry about being banned permanently.

    you made the purchase

    When you are suspended permanently it's always Is for a serious offence

    Keep in mind there are categories that are included with permanent bans beyond phishing including egregious offences

    Usually they state all the reasons you can be banned permanently

    You forfeit access go any dlc or games you purchased
