Permanent ban 6ish years ago still trying to figure out why?

My user name hamagiclamp was banned 6ish years ago for code of conduct. I was almost never on the only reason i found out was my brother said my bio said "code of conduct" or something so i logged on and to my dismay my account was locked up. I called
Microsoft and was told i was banned for breaking the rules. After several weeks of attempting to get any answers and getting no where i threw my Xbox away and installed Ubuntu on my computer. Since then Microsoft left a bad taste in my mouth and i refuse to
spend money on Microsoft anything and i even short the stock if i see it falling. So i guess the real question I'm trying to ask is can anyone answer my question now?

Identical question, last one was locked without ever getting a real answer, just some of the same run around i got 6 years ago.

Maybe wait for me to reply with a follow up question to your response before locking

Unfortunately, due to the age of the suspension, nothing more can be done about it. Suspensions issued within the past 12 months that are longer than 24 hours are eligible for a case review, but since this one was issued six years ago, it is no longer eligible.

Both are good in their own way, and both have drawbacks, just as Xbox One does. Each console also has its own separate Code of Conduct that must be followed in order to use their respective online services.

Thanks for replying. As previously stated by XBF Leonzo, the only way to know why would be to contact the Enforcement team directly, usually when you first learn of the ban, as it would have had information regarding any bans/suspensions listed on their
site.

Since the ban was issued 6 years prior, as our Ambassador RandyAU93 stated, it is beyond the time frame for a case review; however, if you would like further information about the ban, you can still log in and should be able to access the Enforcement history
of the account to see what was going on. If you can't recall the information for accessing the account, then I recommend using the Lost
Account Solution to recover it.

At this time, this is all the information that we have concerning actions pertaining to Enforcement actions and will be locking the thread.

Unfortunately, too much time has elapsed. You're free to enjoy whatever gaming console or platform you choose, provided you operate within their Codes of Conduct. You'll find many users here also play on other consoles, and operate within those Codes.

Actually, there was a forum available where banned users could post for additional information and get a response from the XBLPET. That was shut down and replaced with the case review process. (Oh, in case it comes up, Sony doesn't have a review process
at all.)
