    Permabanned account, but totally fine on Xbox Enforcement


    Hi everyone, I would like to ask for support.

    I had a Xbox Live account I used to play with on the 360 era (2011), then I just quit video games and I sold my Xbox 360. I have a Xbox Series X now, and I would like to recover the gamertag I used.

    The problem is that whenever I try to access my account on my new Xbox, it says that it is "permanently suspended", so I visited the website suggested (enforcements.xbox.com), but everything seems fine. I'm now using another gamertag, but I would like to recover the one I used for so many years on my Xbox 360. Is it possible in some way?

    how long since you used the account, they are closed after a few years of none use now.

    other accounts should be fine. you can also use the subscription even if the main account is suspended, as long as its not permaban.

    Whether or not it would be a permaban would be up to the enforcement team, but it would be considered marketplace theft and can result in a ban.

    As others have said, all enforcement would have time for is putting out fires on here. That said, if you lost your account it was after an investigation, permabans aren't handed out lightly or without evidence. Sorry.

    You didn't catch a permaban just for one infraction most likely, you should check with enforcement and get clarity.
