    Periodic connection loss


    From time to time, like clock work, my Xbox One will lose it's connection for no reason at all. When this happens, I do try the trouble shooting options including checking the multiplayer and network connection. But when I do try to check it, it never finishes,
    whereas when I do have a connection, it will finish within maybe a minute. Turning my console off seems to fix it, but for some reason, this problem seems to affect the simple act of turning it off. It will sit there in limbo with the power button flashing,
    the screen black, and no sound indicating it's reading the disk. When I try to push the power button, it just makes that pinging sound, but it doesn't actually do anything. It's not even a year old, so there's no reason it should be consistently acting up
    like this.

    ^^Got to love those periodic "updates" that always adjust connections and stuff. One week its great, the next, not so much.

    Anyone having problems connecting to COD:AW multiplayer?

    Looks like it was my wireless router maybe? I use a wired connection through my router but I was experiencing 100% packet loss through it according to Xbox multiplayer connection test. I connected through wireless and now it works with only 1% packet loss. Does this mean I need a new router even if the wireless works and wired connection doesn't? Every other game works fine online when my Xbox is wired. Just a CODAW issue.

    ^^Sometimes in MW3 Ill lose connection or someone else will dash, but my stats from the game and cheevos and stuff get saved. I think MW3 saves periodically. ALL CODs before MW3, no stats were saved in a loss connection, except a LOSS for everyone.

    How to change servers

    If you quit within the 30 second time period at the beginning of the game it will not be considered a loss.

    Hi is there a solution for this as yet? my son has been having problem losing connection on and off over the Christmas period and we thought it was the network but this has all been checked out. The xbox one is connected over the wireless network and checking
    the signal strength everything seems to be ok but he's showing 100% packet loss????

    Im not sure about in BO2, but in MW3, sometimes the game would "periodically" save stats throughout a game and even dashboarding or the host dashboarding, stats would be saved sometimes (not everytime). If your host and dashboard, you will throw the whole
    game out of the lobby and give everyone a loss, including yourself. Stats, unsure if they are "periodically" saved throughout a game or not, in BO2. In every COD prior to MW3, when the host dashboarded, everybody got a loss, but no other stats were kept.
