Performance Issues

Now it happens almost immediately when I play and lasts long enough to make the game completely unplayable. I did a few hard resets to clear the cache and nothing helps. I am a preview member with a physical copy.

 

Return your copy to your retailer and demand a refund. The game is broken, and the latest patch made it even worse.

 

I did try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, that did not work. I am not part of the preview program, and I have also tried running it on my External and Internal drives, the problem occurs either way.

 

Konami haven't even admitted the issue exists, and Xbox One is the only platform that's affected. Return your copies while you can.

 

I have this same issue. Im in the preview program but do not have the new UI.

 

I figured this out by mistake if you have another controller charging be sure it's turned off and the game will no longer freeze you out of the controlls

 

Any one have an update to when our MGO is available

 

MGO is now available, comes with the 1.8 gb update.

 

So I'm definitely having this problem. Has anyone tried the "don't charge a second control at the same time" fix? I'm at the point where I have to either pause it as quickly as possible, play offline (which causes all sorts of GMP issues at my base), or
hope that I don't walk into the line of sight of an enemy. If it continues I doubt I'll play more or invest in another Konami game.

 

What I don't get is, why don't you guys demand a refund? The game is clearly broken. You've paid for it and you can expect it to work flawlessly.

 

Anyone else still looking: I've noticed a reduction in the stuttering. When it starts happening if you hit the Menu button (to the left of the xbox guide button) and give the game a hard pause for just a second or two the issue will stop immediately.

 

I have seen no difference in the stuttering of the video image. I'm using the internal HD on my Xbox One. Actually, I didn't notice the performance problems until AFTER Microsoft decided to push this new Windows 10 look-alike garbage to my Xbox One.
After that "update", the stuttering video performance started happening regularly.

I did read that Konami has release a patch for the PS4 and PC versions of MGSV, but there still is no word about a fix for the Xbox One.

Has anyone heard anything about Konagi deploying a patch for Xbox One soon?
