Performance Issues

I'm seeing serious issues with this game. At times I completely loose control for several seconds where the camera will spin and I'll just keep running into enemy outpost and get killed. Audio issues too. Is there a fix or do I just need to wait for the
patch?

HDMI performance issues?

As I said before, the only way MW2/MW3 are "faster" when at 480p is if the MW2/MW3 engines are shifting to rendering internally at 640x480 instead of a fixed resolution.



Normally, 360 games render internally at a fixed resolution. The Xenos GPU scales that output to match whatever the display resolution is. The scaling is "free" in terms of resources.



For a game to perform better at a lower resolution, the game must be changing the rendering resolution.



Replacing the HDMI cable won't make any difference. You're hitting a limitation of the game.

 

Volume/Performance Issues

Just picked up a brand new copy of this game from my local MS store.

Running into some very strange issues with the game.

First time I installed and played it worked beautifully but after trying to play again today I'm running into some really strange issues.

I started a new campaign and i hear and see everything great during the opening scene but I actually begin to play I hear NO volume and the game lags so much it's completely unplayable.

Oddly when I play GTA V I also hear no volume for voices or music in car.

What in the world happened with my Xbox One? Anybody run into this?

I uninstalled both games (lost all of my progress in GTA V sigh...) and the problems still persists.

Just had this thing for literally 1 week and already running into issues. I'm an ex PS guy so my initial experience with Xbox is not at all good.

Exactly the same thing happens to me. Might be worth putting our details into this thread. I get the same issue, with the controls becoming unresponsive.

I run the game off of a USB3 external hard drive, it has a western digital 7200rpm drive inside of it.

I bought the game digitally. My console is about 6 months old. I am using Kinect.

 

Hello I'm having a similar problem, Phantom pain plays just fine but I played for a few hours the other day (offline) and I seen the autosave come up so I assumed It saved my progress but the next day all my progress was lost I did a factory restart I started
againfrom the hospital, I played past the hospital and and got to the point of Ocelot and Snake In the dessert, this time around I played online until that point, I figured It saved. I was wrong, I played offline again for a few more hours and turned my console
off after another autosave. The next day my progress was gone again only this time It loads my progress to where Ocelot and Snake begin In the Dessert. Do I need to play online or Is this an Issue that everyone Is having? Because people are saying they can
play and have It save offline but I can't I really need some help.

 

Same thing happens to me. I have the digital copy and it freezes and wont let me control anything for a few seconds. Very annoying

 

Hello Razgriz69 and Other Users. I too am experiencing this issue. I thought it may be a hardware issue but seeing how I am not the only person with this problem makes me feel a bit more comfortable.

Issue: Loss of player control coupled with frame rate drop and Audio disturbance.

I experience loss of player control for 1 - 2 seconds and severe frame rate drop as well as audio static.

This seems to be a common happening among the other users of this forum.

I originally ran the game off of an external but after believing it to be the problem I can report that moving the game to internal had no affect on the issue, I still had the problem happen.

Does anyone have a link to a tech support for MGSVP we can issue the problem too?

I'm getting the same exact issues. It seems the problem gets worse as I progress into the game. At first it would happen for only 2-3 seconds at a time but after a few hours of playing I lose all controls and have severe framerate and audio stutter for 10+
seconds at a time. It was so bad just now while doing mission 6 that I had to turn it off, it lasted well over 20 seconds. I don't think I can play again until it's patched. I'm hoping it's an issue with the game that can be patched and not an overheating
issues with the console. Despite being well ventilated and having a fan directly over my console, the xbox still gets very hot very quickly. The problems get worse the longer the game is on.

 

I'm having this issue. Is everyone here who's having the issue part of the xbox preview program I wonder? Because I notice a lot of people don't have this issue at all. I wonder if it's preview dashboard related?!?!? Besides that I'm running off external
HD, it's the downloaded pre-order version of the game.

If the above people could post whether or not they're on the xbox preview program that might be helpful!

 

That's interesting because I'm also part of the preview program and running off an external drive.

 

I'm not part of the preview program and the game is unresponsive at times for me also.

 

I am having the same issues as well. Frame rate stutter, loss of player control, audio stutter, lasting about 2 seconds. I have a physical copy and running it off of the Xbox One internal hard drive.

 

Same here...preview program member running off of a USB 3.0 7200 RPM external hard drive having same freezing issues. I moved the game to the internal drive but same exact problem remains. Has anyone tried to delete the game and re download and install
the game again?

 

I'm having exactly the same issue. I'm using an external drive and a disc version of the game. I'm also a member of the preview program.

I really hope this is something that can be patched and not something to do with the Xbox One hardware not being good enough.
