People unable to hear me on party chat

The correct thing is not to hear yourself, to hear your voice is because there is a return and something is wrong and bothers you and the other players, that way I believe everything is right, is there any reason to want to hear your own voice?

I think you misread my answer, I'm saying my Mic works. I know this as I created a voice note to test if my mic was not being picked up by the Xbox. I did not say that I was able to hear myself.

If you can hear others in a party or game but they can't hear you, try these solutions.

Solution 1: Make sure your headset is not muted

Check that the orange LED light next to the mute button is not on.

Solution 2: Power cycle your Xbox One console

Solution 3: Re-associate your controller with your profile

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Kinect & devices > Devices & accessories.
3. Under Assigned to, choose your gamertag.

Solution 4: Verify the NAT type for your network

Network Address Translation (NAT) lets you hide your IP address from devices that are not on your network. For more info about NAT, see the "Current network status" section at Network
settings on Xbox One.

Solution 5: Test your Xbox One Chat Headset

To test the headset, start a party (requires internet connectivity) to test the audio:

1. Sign in to Xbox Live on your Xbox One console.
2. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
3. Under Multiplayer, select Start a party. (You don't need to invite anyone for this test.)
4. Make sure your mic is not muted in party chat.

Note You can use the Y button  on your controller to toggle mute on or off.

The headset definitely works, as I've created a voice note.

2) Nope. It recognises that I've got a headset in.

3) This happens. So I've tried to do a voice chat with a another xbox user, on the same network not in a game. We were both in the party/game chat.

Has nothing to do with your chat its there server and this problem has been getting worse and worse the last few days.....also gets old when one the richest companys in the world doesn't fix anything

my buddy is having the same issue with Astro headset. we can party chat fine , but no game chat. we checked all settings and rebooted the unit. no luck
