People listening to me through my headset

While playing XBOX Roblox, I sometimes hear people talking TO ME. I'm not in a party or chat, yet people can hear me.

It's freaking me out and it keeps me paranoid at night knowing people can hear me when I don't want them to.

Hello 👋 fellow gamer Roblox has what is known as passthrough audio a lot of older game's have this feature you can turn it off in game settings by turning the SFX volume all the way down or you can mute 🔇 game chat 💬 altogether peace ✌️ out happy 😀 gaming

I usually enjoy playing music very loudly if I'm going to play it at all. If it's late at night and I feel like listening to it I'll play it through my headset.

I'm sure there are a few people in here who have been there when I've played Call Me Maybe through my headset. Good times.

when you say xbox on, kinects listens and cuts out the headset so you have to press the ' POWER ' button and turn it on manually for the headset to work and not hear people through the TV. microsoft and me have a love hate relationship. currently I hate
microsoft.

When I play, the only thing I want to hear is my teammates. I definitely do not want to hear other people's music through my headset. When not gaming, I mostly listen to pretty much everything except country and rap.

it's because kinect works as a mic. they don't want people listening to you until you confirm that your friends are listening, i'm personally happy about this when my headset isn't on.

what they should do is make it so it recognizes that you are using the headset and turn it on automatically.
