"People I've blocked" feature does not work for me

I get a message "Try again soon. Not sure what happened there. (0x87c40000)" Been getting this for a long time still not fixed. This is frustrating.

What's the point in the block option?

I've blocked people and yet STILL get paired with them why does this happen it makes the block feature literally pointless!!!

 

Can someone from Xbox Support please address this issue. The error code doesn't return any results.

Sorry to hear about the error code. Just to clarify, when exactly are you experiencing this error code? Are you unable to block players? Or can you not view the players that you have blocked? Thanks!

 

I can block players, just can't view who I blocked.

Sorry to hear that the issue has continued to occur, please go ahead and try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• First, remove your profile from your Xbox One console.
  
• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and sign in to your Xbox One console.
  
• Check to see if you can view the people you have blocked without receiving the error code.
  

Give the suggested steps a try and let us know how it goes.

Sorry to hear that the issue continues. Another idea, would be to try to blocking a new person and checking to see if you are able to view them in your blocked player list. Are you participating in the Preview Program? If you are participating in the
Preview Program, please go ahead and post in the Preview Forums so that we can make sure that right folks can see the issue.

 

I have done everything to try and get it to work, starting to think this won't ever get fixed.

 

Hey there, Magic! As Mister Quimby stated, if you are in the Preview Program, you should post this up in the link he posted above. If you aren't, please post back other troubleshooting steps you have tried in the past few weeks so that we can make sure we
aren't asking you to do things you've already tried.

 

I did post in the Preview Program forums but they don't know how to fix it. I just want to know what is preventing me from seeing the people I've blocked. Other people I know are having the same issue and they are not in the Preview Program so I doubt it's
anything related to that.
