People can't see my chat!

I have been playing MC for a pretty long time now since 2015. I have used one account for 2015 and have used a different account from 2016 till present day. So 2019 came and I decided to get minecraft for my android device (cuz I used to play on iOS devices
before) so everything was going well, I can play in my worlds and servers properly. Untill I decided to play in the hive one of the servers sponsored or should I say built in minecraft so I went there I really got into the hive and played there for days and
are still playing right now to this day. But the problem is that my chat cannot be seen in the hive. Well it's really strange cuz in other servers my chat can be seen by other people. And also when I join people's worlds they can see my chat. And when people
join my world they also can see my chat. It's really weird cuz this only happens in the hive. However I can still do commands (in the hive). This has been my problem for 1 month or more already and I don't know what to do or why this has been happening I saw
other people having the same problems too (in Microsoft forums and the Hive forums). I know I should be asking in the Hive forums but nothing has been showing up but just about the chat filter being triggered. If I have triggered the chat filter (it also said
that the chat filter is done by Microsoft) well the big question is why can I chat properly and why can people see it in other servers and when I join worlds and when people join my worlds. I am so confused and really don't know what to do ;-; pls halp me

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

In regards to this matter, I am unable to explain why you would be able to use your chat regularly in other servers and worlds, and not in this one Hive Server.

I can however assist you with being able to verify if perhaps this has something to do with some sort of privacy settings on your account.

What I would recommend is that you take a look at
this article, as it will inform you on how to change your settings from various platforms. I will also depict the steps to access this from a browser page here for your convenience:

Go to
Xbox.com and sign in to your account (this must be an adult account).
Select your gamertag.
Select Xbox settings. If you don't see this option, select
More links and then select Xbox settings.
Select Privacy & online safety.
Select either the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab or the Privacy
tab. Review the current settings and update any that you want to change.
Select Save before leaving or switching to another tab. If you don't save the changes before you move to the other tab, your changes won't be saved.

I recommend that you confirm that your settings are at minimum set-up to be on "Adult Defaults" so see if this will alleviate this matter.

This happens to me as well on my switch. I'm trying right this second to get my friends attention but I can't, because I can't chat!!!!

My headset only works in party chat. When I'm playing other games I can see that people are talking but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. It only works in party chat.

Make sure you haven't accidentally muted chat. You can check or change this by opening the chat screen and checking the toggle in the upper right. Oh and if it is sending you to privacy settings then he has settings that won't let you talk to him or its your settings doing the same thing go to your privacy settings and make sure both of your settings are the same.
