People can't hear me!

Hi! I have this issue where people can't hear me. The first example of this whenever I start a party and start speaking with my headset, the ring around my profile doesn't move, meaning that it thinks I'm quiet even though I'm speaking loud and clear. Second
of all, I tested this out with voice message to see how people would hear me, and it was too quiet. I did hear me say "hello," but it would be impossible for others to hear or understand what I'm saying. I even wen't to the extents of testing this on my Xbox
One S and the same thing happened. I even-even tried another mic and you guessed it, I'm too quiet that no one can even hear me. Now you may be thinking if I could just move the mic closer to my mouth, but when I do that, it just destroys my ears it's too
loud. I tried a different controller and that didn't work as well. I'm at this point agitated because I literally want to talk to others, but this is happening and I can't find a solution. PLEASE SAVE MY SOUL!

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get your headset to work as intended. I can totally understand how this could be pretty frustrating. I suggest trying the steps outlined in our support page entitled

Troubleshoot the Xbox One Chat Headset.
