People can't approve my friend requests

Hello,

I've sent a bunch of friend requests, they all show up as Pending requests. The other people say they added me as a friend, so I show up on their friend request, however they don't see any way to approve my friend requests, so we become mutual friends.

Where do they go in Xbox One to approve my friend request?

How to approve friendship for a child account?

The friends requests are of course blocked...

So I expect to approve them... but i can't figure how!

Friends on Xbox One work differently from the 360. On the One you can follow anyone you want and they don't have to approve you. Are you sending requests from a 360 to your friends with Xbox Ones? If so, I believe they can still approve you on Xbox.com.

 

I just checked and it doesn't look like you can approve friend requests on Xbox.com any longer. They have to approve the request through an Xbox 360 console. They can also add you as a friend in their One by searching your gamer tag, but they won't show
up on your friends list

 

Yeah, looks like my problem was I was sending friend requests on xbox.com, which is using Xbox 360, not Xbox One. Once I went into my xbox one console and added them there, everything worked fine
