    People being able to get someone banned without microsoft reviewing the report


    My account keeps getting reported because the other day me and my mates were in a party and some random person joined and started being really annoying so i removed him, after that he got mad so he now keeps reporting my account with all of his friends which
    keeps getting me communication banned multiple times, i find this highly unfair due to the fact that i am still having to pay for Xbox live while not being able to communicate to play multiplayer games, i also find this unfair because i have done nothing wrong
    and he is just getting away with it like its nothing.

    i am highly certain this is him because a couple of days prior to my 7 day ban he sent me a message saying "r u comm banned" and then continued by saying "if you dont reply thats a yet"

    I am giving out as much information as i can just in case someone sees this and is able to help.

    My Friend Needs To Be Banned

    Then why are you bothering posting here if reporting does nothing?

    You must be presuming someone from microsoft will see this, they won`t.

    If they do get round to reviewing your report they will read all messages from both sides,and if you "innocent" friends are trying to buy mods from him, i am sure they will get banned too.

    Enforcement

    the current enforcement on Xbox live is a complete joke people can spam reports on you and then you get banned for two weeks at a time. Even if you message someone without any derogatory language if enough people report u there is a very strong chance u
    will be banned. Of course the trolls,cheats,and players that's leave games early during ranked play usually get away without any punishment.

    Be aware that this is not how the reporting or enforcement system works.

    Whenever someone reports you, the console involved will collect data and telemetry and sends that in with the report as evidence. In the case of a message that is reported, the message gets attached to the report.

    If someone (or multiple people) report you "100 times", then the Enforcement system consolidates all 100 reports into one single report.

    Reporting someone over and over will NOT get them banned automatically. It just causes this one single report to move up the report queue faster.

    In the end, a real human being from the enforcement team then looks at the report and the attached evidence. If the evidence shows that you did nothing, then the Enforcement Team member will do nothing, and you will not get banned. No matter if one, two
    or one hundred reports were created about you.

    If however your message contained something that violated the code of conduct (for example your message put someone down or belittled them without actually using swear words), then the Enforcement Team member will issue a suspension.

    you can see if you can apply for a case review on enforcement.xbox.com . Remember that even if someone is being toxic if you answer back you might as well get reported and banned.
