"Pending Upload" for Xbox 360 saves on Xbox One

A few years ago I transferred all my saves from my Xbox 360 into the Cloud to be able to use them on Xbox One. They were transferred successfully, and I think
it also still worked fine when I switched to the S. When playing 360 games on the S, I sometimes got an error that something went wrong with uploading to the Cloud. I switched to the Xbox One X last month (I copied the games to an external drive and connected
it to the X) and when I wanted to resume GTA IV there, I saw that no saves from the time I played the game on the S were shown. I checked the S again and looked into the “Manage Storage” via the Xbox Guide while playing backwards compatible game. There I saw
that all 360 games I played on the S still showed “Pending upload”.

I read that this means they will upload later, but so far nothing happened. Furthermore, I can’t find a way to see “Active Downloads”
for the 360 part, so it’s hard to see if something is maybe stuck. Is there a way to force the upload? There’s still enough space for cloud saves so this can’t be the problem. How can I transfer my saves now from the S to the X?

Xbox 360 saved games on Xbox one.

I'm trying to get my xbox 360 game saves to sync with the cloud on Xbox One. But they just keep saying pending upload. I read around on the forms saying that you can go to active downloads to check the progress but I believe that's only on Xbox 360. So
how do I check the progress of saved game uploads on a backwards compatible title on Xbox One?

 

Converting Xbox 360 save file to Xbox One

I am currently trying to upload a save file from my Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition to Xbox One. First I go onto Xbox 360 and select save upload for Xbox One, next I got onto Xbox One and select retrieve Xbox 360 Save file. Everything is fine until I come to
the converting to Xbox one loading bar. It ends up pausing shortly before ending and goes back to the Xbox One home screen. However, I did try it on another user and their file was able to upload, not mine.

Thanks for the reply! I tried the steps and some other stuff and what finally helped was setting the Xbox in the network menu offline and then online again. Then all save games were uploaded and were also available on the other console.
