Pending Upload 360 game saves on Xbox One

Ok, so recently I got the urge to play some 360 games so I did. The only issue is when I try to save the game everything shows up as normal but if I close and open the game I gotta start fresh again. I did go into the 360 memory by pressing the 2 buttons
on the by the Xbox button and the saves are there, but they only show as "Pending upload" even the file that contains the game settings.

Things I have done are.

1.

delete profile and games from the 360 local memory

turn game back one so it uploads the file again

still shows the same thing

2.

deleted game than re-uploaded

the same thing shows

3.

put Xbox console offline than brought it back online

the same thing shows

Be aware that the saving for Xbox 360 backwards compatible games on the Xbox One is a bit more complicated than saving on an original Xbox 360, or game saves for actual Xbox One games.

The Xbox 360 games have no idea of the Xbox One's concept of "suspending" games and multitasking.

So if you are done playing a Xbox 360 game, you HAVE TO make sure to properly quit the game by going to the Home Screen, and pressing the Menu button on the main game tile.

There choose to Quit the Xbox 360 game.

Only then the game will properly write the save file and is ready to be synchronized and uploaded to the cloud.

Also: NAT as well as Gold memberships don't affect saving on the Xbox One. You only need Gold to use the cloud save on a real Xbox 360 console.

I just tried on several games both quitting from Xbox One menu and 360 Guide Menu (Leave game) with no success. Save games are still in upload pending status.

Thanks for the reply! I tried the steps and some other stuff and what finally helped was setting the Xbox in the network menu offline and then online again. Then all save games were uploaded and were also available on the other console.
