PDP Afterglow Controller

I've been using the Afterglow Controller for some time. It seemed to be working fine until I used it on my computer. I plug it back into my Xbox one and then the Mic stops working. So I thought it was the mics problem since I was using Apple ear buds, so
I bought a new Mic and it still doesn' work. I believe the problem is due to the usb plug needed to use the controller. The Mic works fine with my standered controller until I plug it into the usb. While I am not mad that I bought a new Mic (the ear buds doesn't
work on my standered either) but that if I want to party with friends I'll have to use the standered, and I dropped $25 on the Afterglow.

Xbox One PDP Prismatic Afterglow USB controller has buzzing sound transmitting over mic

I recently bought a PDP Afterglow wired controller and Afterglow lvl 5+ wired headset and I am having the same issues. I believe it is because the controllers default Mic sensitivity is set too high, but it cant be adjusted in Settings>Devices and accessories>
Controllers>Volume, unlike like a Microsoft Xbox one controller. I think pdp and Microsoft may use a different controller software, since the Microsoft controller update cannot be downloaded to the pdp controller. I am hoping the Afterglow app provides more
settings and a way to adjust Mic levels.

The Afterglow AG7 headset is manufactured by PDP, a third-party company. Microsoft has no part in manufacture of the headset, other than "officially licensing" it.

You will need to browse through PDP support (Afterglow AG7 support page) to troubleshoot your headset problems.

Are you still having issues connecting a mic to your Afterglow controller?

If so, can you list the makes and models of the mics you have tried so far with that controller?

Also, does the same thing happen with that controller on another console?
