PC & Xbox One Controller (Accessory Attachment Problems)

With my Xbox 360 controller I could (and can) use the headset to talk to my friends with Skype and any other program I wanted because the computer would detect the headset and microphone as playback and recording device.

When I plug an Xbox One headset into my Xbox One controller my computer doesn't recognize the headset as a playback or recording device.

Am I doing something wrong? Is something wrong with my computer’s setup? Or is feature not yet supported?

Can you use a Delta Wild Force 2 wireless controller on an Xbox 1?

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about your Xbox One wireless controller. The Delta Wild Force 2 wireless is compatible with any standard PC Gamepad, and Xbox 360 Controller. Unfortunately, the controller is not compatible with Xbox One.

If you purchased a Microsoft Xbox accessory within the last 30 days, you can return it to the retailer with your original proof of purchase. If you purchased the accessory more than 30 days ago but within the accessory warranty period, you can order a replacement
accessory from
Device Support (console registration is required). Make sure you click
Replace an accessory instead of “Repair my device.” Follow the onscreen prompts to place an order.

Troubleshooting Kinect USB connection problem

If there is a problem with the USB connection of your Kinect, you might see any one of the following error messages:

There's a USB connection problem. (C0051011)
USB bandwidth exceeded. (C0051010)

You have to reset the connections to solve the problem.

Troubleshooting USB connection problem

Follow the steps below:

Xbox 360 S console

• First, turn off the console.
• You need to unplug the Kinect sensor and any USB accessories from your console.
• Plug the sensor cable into the AUX port on the back of the console.
Note: If your Kinect came with a power/USB adapter, remove it.
• Now turn on your console.
• Carefully plug each USB accessory back into the console to check out which one is problematic.

If the problem still exists, you’ll have to reduce the number of accessories attached to the console.

Original Xbox 360 console

• First, turn off the console and unplug the Kinect sensor and any USB accessories from your console.
• You need to ensure that the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
• Check out the USB connector to ensure that it is plugged into the back of the console.
• Now turn on your console
• Carefully plug each USB accessory back into the console to check out which one is problematic.

If the problem still exists, you’ll have to reduce the number of accessories attached to the console.

 

Its currently working purely as a controller. Hence your headset not working.

 

Depending on the headset in question and its connections, you could possibly just plug that straight into the computer instead.

I was quantifying the current ability of the drivers, not verifying what was happening to you

Is there hope/talk for future support for Xbox One controller accessories?

 

Not officially yet, so we don't know.

 

Just as an FYI. I used an Xbox One to update my controller just to check if that would help. No changes.
