Pc Xbox invites and joining issue

when i play anygames that use xbox to sign in i can't except invites or join friends like on sea of thieves or halo and idk why. im pretty sure all my accounts are the same but my microsoft account for xbox is different then what i made for pc but the xbox app, companion app and games are signed in as not that one couold tht be why?

lets take sea of thieves for example, if i go into the game and hit windows button +g it opens an overlay for me to invite friends and join and such. my fiance does this and gets the option to invite but mine is grayed out and if i hit join it loads for a couple seconds where my mouse is but does nothing and nothing changes. she right clicks the friend and can hit invite or join but i can not. if i got on the xbox app or xbox companion app and accepted from there it would try to take me to the windows store to buy the game but i got it on steam as did my fiance who can do all this though.

I fixed it, something weird with my 2 seperate accounts that they had the dame picture and similar names so had one signed in wrong

Try to join or invite a party using another device.

Like Xbox app on mobile or PC. To test out it you can join or invite a party using a different device.

If the issue do happens to another device, do contact the Xbox support.

They should be able to refresh your account Gold and provide some basic troubleshooting to refresh your account and console.

Hi, my friend has the pc version from the xbox app, and as said before he is unable to join due to not receiving a notification of the invite, he is on pc but is using the xbox app to play with me

Am also having this issue since the update. Cannot join parties, cannot invite people to party i've started either. Error message, 'can't connect to xbox live party'. Can join game invite and can invite people to game without any issues. Will try the above
when I get home, fingers crossed.

Just to clarify, do you currently have two separate accounts signed into your PC and your laptop? If so, are you encountering any specific error messages when you try to invite the other account either from your PC or Laptop? Can you test navigating to your
friend's profile page within the Xbox App and then join their game from there?

Yes, I have got two separated accounts. When I want to invite from PC to laptop I got

Trimmedbeard. When I want invite from laptop to PC - the same.
My friends can invite my PC. I have not tried to invite friends from laptop yet. There is no option to join from laptop to existing team using xbox platform. The same error (
