PC Xbox beta game pass bug (Solved - Not a bug)

Hi, so i redeemed an AMD rewards pc game pass reward a couple weeks back and for some reason on my Microsoft account it shows it's been redeemed but i have no game pass in either the app or on my Microsoft account web or app settings.

is this a known bug or is there something deeper going on here?

if so is there a fix?

EDIT: Solved the issue but i'll leave up the solution if anyone is having a similar issue.

- Your game pass is linked to your Microsoft Store Account not the account you bought your game pass on/redeemed it on, so if the 2 are different you need to change your Microsoft Store Account through the
Microsoft Store Application on your PC to match that of the account you're trying to play Xbox Beta games on.

Here is a link to the page you can download the PC Game Pass app from. Also this version of Game Pass is still new and in its Beta so there's bound to be some
bugs.

The Game Pass for PC is still in beta phase, so bugs are expected. but you can try to reinstall the Gamepass app that might resolve this issue.

Unfortunately as Game Pass for PC is in its Beta stage there's bound to be bugs and issues. The best you can do for now is to keep up with the thread mentioned and be patient.

Please keep in mind that the Xbox PC Game Pass is still in the Beta phase so there is bound to be some bugs and glitches etc. This should all be eventually sorted out, but like everything it takes time.
