PC Xbox app not showing pending downloads

So I started downloading Forza Horizon 5 from gamepass on my pc I recently built, I paused the download before closing everything and shutting down my pc to play Apex Legends on Xbox. Anyway I boot up after 2 hours to resume my download (which was on 20%) but it has disappeared completely and has taken the diskspace with it. Any help will be great ty.

I am not very tech savvy so I don't know where to possibly look to find it and attempt to uninstall then reinstall again. Plus I have already looked on google to no avail.

If you go back to the title in the app, you can restart the download

Hi,

If your download is still showing as pending try to go to the dashboard and then push the middle button on your Xbox 360 controller. Go to Games & Apps, and then Active Downloads. Once you're there, press A on the pending download and then try to hit Download
Now if there's an option for that. This should jump start the download.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Have you already checked to make sure that you do not have any pending system updates? I am linking the download site for the Xbox app also so that you may attempt to install from this location. Xbox App for Windows PC | Xbox

Sorry to hear it. Please try using the Beta App to update the games if the Store app is not working. If you are unable to download the Beta App then make sure your PC is up to date with no pending updates

Just right click the app and choose uninstall, then re-install it from the Xbox store for free.

It might hang a little bid when downloading but it works. If you see "pending", just restart your pc and the app will be installed. Works fine after that.
