    PC Xbox App not installing games from Game Pass Ultimate


    My PC Xbox app allows me to click Install for games, but then it stays at 0% (specifically Minecraft Dungeons for Windows + Launcher, also tested with No Man's Sky and same issue, as well as a few others; all same issue).

    Further, I cannot pause or remove them from the queue. I've tried restarting and disconnecting/reconnecting my internet, which is working fine for all other services (Steam, etc), as well as other games which require updates and online service to play (Sea of Thieves).

    The download queue function seems to be having some kind of issue, but I cannot determine where the games are downloading to while they are in the queue, which is what led me here. My plan was to try deleting them directly, unless someone has another solution.

    I'm assuming you mean the Xbox beta App, so you can play games on Xbox game pass for PC or Ultimate. You need the latest Windows 10 version to be able to install the app, there is no other way. Also that app is only so you can find and install the games
    from game pass easier. You can still find and download the games from the Microsoft store app, but they may not work without the latest version of Windows installed.

    If you have bought Game Pass Ultimate, then it includes Games Pass for Xbox, Game Pass for PC, EA Play for Xbox, Cloud Gaming on android & Xbox Live Gold. So yes, you can use it on your PC.

    It's simple to use, download the Xbox app on your PC, log in with the account that has Game Pass Ultimate, and then download a game from the app, once downloaded, start the game.

    To access Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on your PC, you will need to install the Xbox (Beta) app from the Microsoft Store. Once you have installed the app, sign in with the Microsoft account that you used to purchase your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

    If you have already installed the Xbox (Beta) app and are still having trouble accessing your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, there are a few things you can try:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to the Xbox (Beta) app with the correct Microsoft account.
    2. Check your subscription status by going to the Account tab in the app and looking for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate section. If your subscription is active, it should show the expiration date.
    3. Try restarting the Xbox (Beta) app and/or your PC.
    4. Make sure your PC meets the minimum system requirements for the games you are trying to play.
    5. If you continue to have problems, you can try contacting Microsoft support

    You don’t need an Xbox to use Game Pass for PC. You can find info on the subject here: https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-game-pass/pc-games

    What you would probably want is game pass for PC, not game pass ultimate if you’re just using it for PC.

    Basically, just a Windows PC with the Xbox app installed.
