PC xbox app: game bar audio bug

So hopped on Today and the xbox app gave me an update. Once I update and joined a party I noticed my party chat could only hear me when I had the xbox game bar open or with the party chat being pinned. Once I push my Xbox home button again (closing my game bar) my party can no longer hear me.

Have tried multiple fixes if found online but none have worked. Please fix this annoying problem everything was fine til you updated my app!
