    PC to xBox Cross Console Multiple Accounts


    There are three gamers in my family. Me and my two sons. Do I need more than one xbox live gold account in order for more than one of us to have the ability to play cross-console? For example, I've linked my xbox live account to an epic games account so
    I can play fortnite on either xbox or PC. I've tried to link my son's account, but it's not working. "Once you've linked your Xbox Live account to your Epic Games account you will not be able to link a different Xbox Live account to it." Makes it seem like
    I need multiple xbox live accounts, but just want to ask before paying for stuff I don't need.

    From what I understand of the issue, is that you are trying to link one Xbox Gold Account to 3 separate Epic Games Accounts? If that is the case, you need 3 separate Xbox accounts.

    If its through Steam you may not be able to. I'm not too up to date on Steam cross play compatibility but, if one of two things are true then PC to Console through Steam may be true. First, if you go to the Microsoft webstore and Stardew Valley says its
    avaliable on Xbox Play Anywhere (meaning there is cross play and cross save compatibility between console and PC) then you should be able to. The second being, if you can sign into/link your Microsoft/Xbox account to the Steam game then you should also be
    able to do cross play.

    buy it on xbox and play on pc or an xbox console as it is a play anywhere title, cross save is available and no you don't need gamepass for cross save.

    I just downloaded the game on PC and Console. I was able to play cross platform with two separate accounts with no issue. It seems that you may have the same account signed into both PC and Console, which is giving you the error. Make sure only your account
    is signed in on PC and only your daughter's account signed in on Console.
