    PC sync to XBox One


    having issues getting anything to play from my PC to the Xbone. i have Windows Media Player set to default, ive added the xbone as a device, i was actually able to play a video a few hours ago but now.. nothing. it sits there for about 5 minutes trying
    to "Contacting Media Server..." and then it says there is an error.

    Wireless Controller Adapter keeps needing resync on PC startup

    I have an Xboxe One wireless adapter for my PC so I can use the Xbox One controller with PC games.

    Every time I restart my PC I have to resync my controller. Actually, it never even wants to sync again unless I unplug the USB device, plug it back in and then hit the sync buttons.

    I am sick of doing this every time I boot my PC. I tried the troubleshooting tips already (use USB extender cable, do't have it near metal, etc). Any suggestions?

    -I assume you're trying to play a video or music file from your PC to the XBox One....if yes, please provide some more details or go here:

    support.xbox.com/.../playto

    -What is your OS?

    -Is the PC wired or wireless?

    -Is the file on the PC HD or an external HD?

    -What is the file type?

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.

    Avoid turning on console when turning on controller

    When synced to PC it stops working on Xbox until it syncs back to Xbox.

    Ah ok, I just assumed you started out on Xbox, with the PC having to sync data,

    The only time i have to data sync is when I'm playing from Xbox to PC ( sync happens on PC ) or PC to Xbox ( sync happens on Xbox ),

    I don't know why it would need to sync data if you started out and just play on PC,

    I'm not sure what else you can try, other than try to uninstall and reinstall the game to see if it has any affect or if it fixes the issue.
