PC only title - Play online with Xbox friends?

So my friends all have the latest Call of Duty game on their Xbox One, however I don't have an Xbox one (waiting for the One X now), but I have a PC thaat handles games very capably. I've seen that it can be purchased on the Windows Store for PC, but I
don't know that if I get it I'll aactually be able to play with my friends online. Does it mean it's a full PC exclusive player base and I won't be able to play with my friends, or does it mean I can play with my friends, but I just can't use the copy on
an Xbox? please help, I don't want to buy it and then not be able to join them.

Only play anywhere titles can be played on both PC and Xbox.

Free Xbox Live

The only place Live is free is on the PC in Games for Windows Live titles, where online play is allowed no matter your membership level.

Call of duty Infinite Warfare is not play anywhere and is exclusive to the system you buy it on, so if you get it on PC you will only be able to play it with PC players and you will also not own it on the xbox. In your situation I would recommend not buying
it.

Hello M.G., sorry to hear you're having trouble with your membership.

The Xbox Game Pass only gives access to Game Pass titles whereas the Ultimate Game Pass would give access to both online play as well as the Game Pass titles.

The reason that the PC Game Pass offers EA as a Gold membership is not required to play online with PC.

If you would like to play online with Xbox you would need to upgrade your membership or you could look at some of the free to play online titles such as Destiny 2, Fortnite or Call of Duty.

Not all Xbox One games can be played on a PC. Only the play anywhere titles. If they are play anywhere titles you can just download them on your PC.

You can only use xbox gamepass for.pc only for the playanywhere titles

As xgu for pc is completely different library wirh only play anywhere titles being rhe common titles between the two

On the bright side xgu for pc is cheaper then xbox
