PC Minecraft worlds keep deleting themselves

So i have an old laptop, i play Java Minecraft or PC Minecraft, whatever you want to call it. I only play 1.14 out of fear of messing up my worlds. Yet somehow my worlds just delete themselves. I don't just exit, I save, then 'quit game' and when i log
back in sometimes the world i played most recently is just gone. Gameplay is also kinda off since i started playing 1.14, chunk errors everywhere. I deleted all of my unwanted worlds, thinking i could save storage or something? Multiple times worlds just weren't
there when i logged back in.

I'm fine with the worlds deleting, its just frustrating, i spend time on the world, then its gone. Does anyone know how this is happening? Or how i can fix it?

P.S sorry this is in the Xbox category, don't know where else to put it.

deleted so frequently and the chunk errors.

Are you currently game sharing your account with someone else ? Because when the person you're game sharing with uninstalls a game on his console it MIGHT be uninstalled form your console.

If that's not the case for you, I suggest you reset your console (Choose the "Keep my apps and games option").

However, this could be also due to a system update. in this case, the reset might help fix the issue
