    Okay so um, i dont know where to ask this question specifically, because i download it from the official minecraft site every time i… download it.

    But uh, my problem here is the game launches, shows the red screen and then immediately goes black, and then immediately closes. No crash reports either. It has been doing this for a while and i want to play the bedrock version with friends and stuff. Java works perfectly fine, but bedrock doesnt. I’ve restarted my computer, ive un-installed the game and reset everything about it. My pc is updated- or i just cant find any updates.

    Ive looked a bit for answers before saying this here, but nothing really helped much.

    Also if this helps, its been doing this since i first downloaded it on this computer, and i at first downloaded it on an account that doesnt own the game. (It said i did on the xbox app for some reason)

    Minecraft (Windows Edition) will not open, error: Minecraft can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected.

    When you try opening it immediately closes?
    Is the Bedrock edition, right? Or Java?

    Ik think it's something in the friend list. Everything is loaded except my friend list. After a few seconds the app closes.

    told ya man. Just click recent friends see first. I was streaming all night no issues. After I have it see first recent.

    I have the same issue. I found out it was my gamertag was doing it. I have used a different gamertag on the xbox app windows 10. The app didn't crash. So it was my gamertag was doing it.

    Even if you used a different computer then tried your gamertag with a xbox app. Just would be the same I think, crashed. Trying another user account on your computer does not work either... I did read that safe mode networking could work. However when I
    went to safe mode networking. My wifi was disable.

    I have the same issue. I found out it was my gamertag was doing it. I have used a different gamertag on the xbox app windows 10. The app didn't crash. So it was my gamertag was doing it.

    So... I have to pay for a new gamertag to fix this issue?!
    No it didn't fix the issue. Right now I downloading xbox (beta) still doesn't work. While I was playing fallout shelter keith03820 full screen it didn't even last 5mins. However while having the xbox app on not full screen it is still was running while
    playing fallout shelter streaming.

    Now I am using two gamertags 1 dummy and the other is mine full screen. Well it has something to do with full screen or not. I feel it is random.

    I never had this issue until.

    What happen is I saw a message from xbox live using my xbox one app. I clicked that then saw a free code rainbow six siege. Wasn't able to redeem the code that way so I redeem the code from the console it self. Still no issues. But I send a message to a
    buddy about a game. I notice I have a message I clicked that message then xbox app closed out.

    I have a friend that does have a pc so I am going to try to see if the xbox app works with my gamertag..

    I just recalled something from the xbox 360 what was great having a live gamertag was if your gamertag was corrupted. You could delete your gamertag then redownload that to fix the problem. I wish that was the case.

    In other words I can't find a. A lot of people have the same issue. Just not with gamertags with the app it self. I am thinking it is their gamertag.
