    Hi there.

    I recently began installing Halo Wars 2 on PC and now the game has stopped downloading on 70.9 out of 71 GB. I restarted my PC as the download had been frozen for hours. Upon restarting the app it is now telling me that the game does not exist in my files
    and wants me to reinstall the game altogether, except it is still taking up the 70gb of hard drive space it just can't find it for whatever reason. I also don't have the fastest internet and don't want to reinstall it all over again but the fact that it is
    still taking up 70gb of my hard drive and I can't find it in my files is unbelievable.

    Please remove the disc change requirement for installed multi-disc games.

    My disk drive doesn't work. I would REALLY love to play all those installed games just sitting there taking up space on my Hard Drive :/

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Given the problem you are having, I suggest you try the procedure below.

    (Some users have reported that this allows downloading the game)

    1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.

    2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.

    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.

    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.

    - If that works, the download will probably pick up where it left off.

    The info in the articles aren't helping. I have drive space, I have service, my console is up to date, and i have restarted my system. The game will say that is installing, but the download bar won't go up. Shortly after, it will say Installation stopped.

    you have installed it to the C: drive, that will use about 145GB of space, do you have enough space on the C: drive, also if you access the folder and take ownership of the folder it is in then it will break the encryption and the game will not run.

    microsoft installed the gamepass and store games into an encrypted folder which you cannot access.
