    PC mic on xbox one... Can I buy an adapter?


    I ordered a DIZA100 Kotion Each G9000 headset from Amazon to use on my Xbox One... Unfortunately, as stupid I am, it's for PC. The audio works fine on it, but I can't chat. I was wondering if I could buy one of those 3.55 mm to male splitter
    things, if I could get game audio and be able to chat. The mic has a green 3.55 mm cord and a red 3.55 cord, for chat on PC, I believe. Thanks for reading.

    Hello people, my xbox one mic will not work when trying to play black ops 2 on the xbox one. But it does work completely fine for actual xbox one games, is my mic the problem? Can i fix this without getting a new mic or must i buy a new mic?

    on twitch some times whihc i dont do alot. would it work ? or would i still have to use the Kinect ? also is it possable to on xbox one to stream on Twitch with out Kinect ? Thank you.

    I have turtle beach X12's with Xbox stereo adapter which can be found at that link from the Xbox store.

    www.xbox.com/.../stereo-headset-adapter    . You can buy a buy a 3.55 MM splinter that converts to two ends a red and a white and will allow you to connect your headset to chat and hear sound you will leave red cord alone only plug in the green one to the
    spliter.

    Another way is if you TV like mine has a 3.55 jack on it you can plug it in there to prevent the other way as explained up to in my post. I will give you a reference link from turtle beaches website now this is not xbox support so anything that is represent

    Stereo Headset Adapter Mic Monitoring

    If you use the adapter from xbox you will not be able to have mic monitoring. you can buy an adapter from turtle beach that allows mic monitoring. Xbox is being really dumb not letting people use mic monitoring with the xbox adapters

    I am buying the Xbox mic tonight and hope that this works but, in this solution you gave me is to buy an adapter makes the wireless wired or in other words return the astros A20 and buy a headset that has a controller adapter to connect to the headset..
    How can I use a wireless headset? I will find out tonight if this works with the original headset mic for Xbox.

    I didn't buy a $150 pair of turtle beaches just so I can buy a new headset, I just need an adapter....M$ probably won't release one so they can make money off ppl buying there special mics that can only be used on xbox one

    Mic Settings on Xbox One

    There is no way to set mic sensitivity via stereo adapter. It's linked to the headset controller.

    Unfortunately, being an unlicensed headset there's very little we can do for help you.

    That one is made for PC, so I would expect this kind of issue if you adapt it for Xbox.
