    Pc isnt cross platform?


    When I bought Ark on steam on pc I tried to play with a friend who is on Xbox and bought Ark from the Microsoft Xbox store and its isn't working. I tried to run a nondedicated server but I cant seem to find the server he made, I have tried to make the server on my end as well.

    Since Bedrock is cross-platform, I was hoping that my kids can download it on their computers as well
    This is where the confusion I laying I think...cross-platform is different:

    Cross-platform: This means that, when in the game, you can be playing with people on PC or console...if it wasn't cross-platform, then you'd be playing with people on console (if playing on console yourself) or on PC (if on PC)

    Play Anywhere: When listed in a game's details, this means it can be downloaded on any platform that is supported
