PC Headset with streaming?

I bought a Logitech g930 headset the other day and was hoping I could use it with my game streaming instead of the Xbox One headset. Is it possible? I am streaming my Xbox One to my Windows 10 PC. The audio works fine but the mic does not.

Convert PC Headset to Xbox 360 Headset

If your into are more hands on approach and know how to use a soldiering iron to make the cables -

This guy got a razor headset working on his xbox -

If your a DIYer this might be a solution. If not buy a compatible branded headset.

Microphone problems? G430 Headset Adapter

Your headset won't work with Xbox. You have a PC headset.

The headset I found is a PC headset with a separate mic and line audio cable.

The mic and audio need to be together on one cable.

It looks like the G233 G933 G633 state specifically - Works with PC, Console, and Mobile devices

To use a headset while streaming. Plug your USB headset (or microphone) into your Windows 10 PC or your chat headset into your controller before beginning Game Streaming. Your headset must be selected as the default playback and recording device on
your PC. To access this setting, open Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound, and then select Manage Audio Devices.

If you're streaming from an Xbox console, then your headset mic should work. If you are streaming from PC, any USB Mic should work.

Any update on this? I had the same problem, so I switched to another PC that was still working correctly, meaning I could see my xbox one streamed through windows 10, but continue to use the controller with the headset as usual.

And then after several weeks, just like with my 1st PC, for some reason the party chat now transitions away from my controller headset to my PC when I start streaming. If I stop streaming, the controller headset starts working again. So my choice is to
either participate in party chat OR see the screen, but not both.

This makes streaming useless for any multiplayer activity involving party chat.

Hi Bestlano. Thanks for the reply - I've checked this setting and it's on "headset", so perhaps it's deciding that when I'm streaming to PC, "headset" means my PC. I'll report the problem using both of the methods you've requested as well, thanks

Xbox doesn't have any VR headset that works native on games, I think you can use the PC and the streaming to PC but this isn't native.
