PC GAME PASS - Some Games Won't Sign In

I want to apologize for the late reply as I continued to investigate this issue affecting many other players. I am also sorry that the solutions I provided did not address the current problem with Dragon Quest 11. As I continued to look for a viable solution, I had a couple of gamers with the same issue, and I had them attempt this fix, and they were able to resolve the problem you were experiencing. I understand in just wanting to open your Xbox App and play versus having to troubleshoot an issue. Again, thank you for the feedback, and we will continue to work hard in resolving problems within Game Pass on PC. We want to continue to improve the experience and eliminate those pain points. Would you please let me know if the below solutions fixed your sign-in problem?

Solution 1:

1. Right-click on the Windows icon.

2. Select Command Prompt (Admin).

3. In the User Account Control pop-up window, confirm your choice.

4. In the new window, enter the following commands, pressing Enter after each:

ipconfig / flushdns

ipconfig / registerdns

ipconfig / release

ipconfig / renew

netsh winsock reset

Once you've finished, you can restart your machine, try to boot up the game, and verify that you can sign in.

Solution 2:

1. If you have another PC, install the game and boot it up on the new device.
   
2. See if you can sign in and verify the game.
   
3. Then go back to the original PC and see if that resolved the issue.

Let me provide you with a couple of solutions that are quick and that hopefully resolve this Xbox sign-in problem.

Solution 1

• Would you please click on this link and install this Get Xbox Identity Provider - Microsoft Store? It usually resolves issues with your PC connecting to Xbox Live to populate the Xbox Sign in that you need to do with most games on Game Pass.
  

Solution 2

• Open the Windows Store and then Search for Dragon Quest 11 or the Game you want to install and download from the Windows store. Once the install has finished, open the game and see if the Xbox sign-in page populates
  

Solution 3

• Locate the Xbox app and right-click on the icon
  
• Select app setting
  
• Then scroll down and reset the app; if that does not work, select the repair option.

Hi. I'm sorry for my impatience but I did all these steps and nothing happened.
I'm not the only person whos' angry about this, you can read the reviews for the quote
"Xbox Identify Provider" App and see for yourself. This is all nonsense. PC G AME PASS is just broken.

Why can't you just fix it? It's obviously a problem on your end, not mine. My pc will run these games on steam with no problem!!!

Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold, Game Pass for Console, and Game Pass for PC. As long as you're signed into the same account on both the PC and Xbox, you would have Game Pass on both.

You won't be able to access all Xbox games on the PC. Only games that are Play Anywhere or included in Game Pass for PC.

To play this game on PC you need to own the digital version or be signed up for Game Pass.

If you have the game on disc you won't be able to play on PC for free.
