PC Game Pass: lost hours of progress in Ori 2

I've had the exact same issue with ORI. lost about 20 percent of my progress.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. This means that it can be downloaded from the Windows 10 Store.

Ori and the Blind Forest is not a Play Anywhere title. To download the PC version of this game from the PC Game Pass you need the PC Game Pass App installed.

The issue was:

Despite me having that setting ON, windows chose not to automatically set the hour right (had to go 1 hour backwards due to legal hour).

When i set the hour manually, vampyr launched properly, but my 20 hours playtrough got lost.

Lost 20 hours of game progress + the rest of the game, since in no way i can read thousand of dialogues and gather materials again.

I want 1 month of game pass as a refund

All game progress is saved in the cloud, so you can resume from where you left when you buy a game individually. However, if there are multiple versions of the same game, then it depends on what version you bought? For example, Game Pass has Hitman 2016.
However, there is also a Hitman 2016 GOTY Edition Legacy pack. Both are different and have different game progress which won't be carried on. Similarly, Ori and the Blind forest has 2 versions which are distinct and progress will not be carried on based on
what version you played first.
