PC Game pass download frozen for hours

Just a few days prior I downloaded Minecraft Legends to play with some buddies of mine and everything just went as usual. But then I saw that The Evil Within 2 was on game pass and thought that it would be a great idea to install it. So when installing, it did the usual where would I like to install it and all that and it downloaded, but then just stopped dead in its tracks. I thought it was probably my internet causing issues but no, I even tested by downloading a game on steam and it worked perfectly fine. I've also tried methods that were posted ages before but all of them couldn't help fix it.

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

because the game is not part of Game Pass, there's a 10 hour trial available with EA play

Are you on PC or Xbox? If you're on PC you need to download the EA app and connect your accounts to access the trial

In order to fix this, you will need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps. Kindly make sure to update your Windows, Device Drivers, Xbox and gaming services, here's how:

For Windows:

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.

On Windows 10, select Update & Security. On Windows 11, select Windows Update.

On the Windows Update page, select Check for Updates to see if any updates are available for your device.

Once the updates have been downloaded, select Install Now to start the installation.

Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.

For Device Drivers:

For the best game performance, make sure your system’s video card drivers (or display adapter drivers) are up to date. Drivers are available on the support website for your computer manufacturer, or if your computer system is custom built, on the video card manufacturer’s support website. Updating video card drivers can resolve game crashes, improve frame rates, and improve overall game performance.

For Xbox and gaming services:

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app.

Select Library.

Under Updates & Downloads, check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app or Gaming Services app. If an update is available, select Update.

Game Pass Ultimate is just a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass, and Game Pass for PC. So games downloaded from Game Pass will work the same as they do with standard Game Pass versus Ultimate.

Since Forza is a Play Anywhere title, you an download it on both the PC and console without needing Game Pass for PC or Game Pass Ultimate.

I just signed up for the Xbox Game Pass for PC. I downloaded Cross Code to my desktop but I also want to play on my laptop. I installed the Game Pass app on both and played for several hours on my desktop. When in installed both again on my laptop the save
for me desktop is not there. Does Game Pass for PC support Cloud saves yet?
