Microsoft Mahjong Background Issue

I was just about to make a sticky post on this. It looks like this issue is caused by the drivers being used for this video card and the lack of officially supported Windows 8.1 drivers for these cards. We’ve found that not installing or rolling-back drivers
for these adapters can resolve the issue.

If you need me to help walk you through rolling back your drivers, just let me know what device/PC you're using and I'll be glad to help! =)

Microsoft have finally released drivers for Windows for use with the Xbox One Controller

Microsoft are also planning in the near feature to add the drivers as part of a Windows update.

 

Yeah, now we need wireless support...

 

I was thinking about Games for Windows Live but I'm not sure how it works. I have a few questions first.

1- Can I run Games for Windows Live on my Windows 7 64bit pc?

2- Can I use the same id for Games for Windows Live that I use on my Xbox One?

3- Can I use my Xbox One controller for all games or is it just certain ones?

4- When downloading the new pc drivers for my controller, do I download both links or one or the other? If it's just one or the other which one do I download?

I just bought another wired Xbox 360 controller just the other day .

 

@Maximum Extreme- Games For Windows live is shutdown. The biggest digital distribution platform for the PC is STEAM, in addition to EA's Origin, and Ubisoft's Uplay services. If you purchase your PC games through STEAM it will let know you know which games
support or partially support a gamepad.

 

Drivers work great. If a game supports Xbox 360 control pad, it supports Xbox One control pad.

@Lol is GFWL shut down completely now? Or just the marketplace?

 

GFWL is gone. Games that used it are being, or have been, converted to work with other platforms such as Steam.

So to the people that have done this, how does this work exactly? Will it work with the wireless 360 receiver or do you have to connect it to the pc via usb?

 

It works by connecting the controller through a micro usb cable. Once you download and install the driver from Major Nelson website, connect your controller and Windows will detect it.

 

Drivers went out and Dead Rising 3 was confirmed for PC release Summer 2014. Man today is off to a great start.
